Virtual Reformer on the Mat

Virtual Reformer on the Mat journey by Sarah Stonier

When we had to close the Chapel Allerton Pilates Studio at the start of lockdown it was hard to not be able to be in our lovely safe place and see clients and friends everyday. We also faced the challenge on how to recreate the amazing feedback we get from the Pilates equipment. How was the team going to bring this special Pilates practice to people's homes to keep them moving?

Well it has been an incredible few weeks. It is amazing what we have been able to do with, bands, belts and broom handles (saves us cleaning again) and a little imagination. During the virtual pilates classes the team create flowing, integrated  fun, movement classes to keep our clients and community moving when they need it most.

I feel so lucky to still be part of the Chapel Allerton Pilates team and to still be able to continue to teach Reformer on the mat classes from home. I want to take this moment to say thank you and show my gratitude for the amazing clients who have continued to support us and continue this journey with us.

As lockdown is set to continue into July and if you haven't tried a virtual pilates class we would love to see you on the mat soon.
