Our Classes

HEAL | PREVENT | THRIVE

People come to us for many different reasons.

Some are managing painpreparing for or recovering from surgery, or rebuilding strength after an injury.

Others join us during pregnancy or postnatally to feel supported and strong.

Whatever your reason, Pilates offers a safe and effective way to restore balance, build resilience, and move with confidence.

Back Pain?

1 in 6 adults in the UK suffer with backpain. One of the best ways to prevent back pain is to keep your back muscles strong and to add Pilates movement into your daily life.

Poor Posture

Pilates helps you hold your body the right way, focusing on your posture to improve your current posture and avoid more pain injuries, and other health problems.

Lack of Flexibility

Tight hamstrings can worsen lower back pain. Pilates increases flexibility, eases stiffness, and reduces discomfort so you can move with ease.

Limited Strength

As we age, muscle mass and strength decline. Pilates rebuilds strength, improves balance and coordination, and supports healthy movement for life.

Injury?

Pilates is one of the best practices to help you heal, prevent and thrive from injury. All of our teachers are Polestar trained which means they not only understand Pilates, but they also understand anatomy.

pelvic floor dysfunction

Pelvic floor issues like prolapse, Diastasis Recti, or incontinence can cause pain and limit daily life. Pilates helps restore control, and confidence.

The Northern Home of Polestar Pilates Education

Chapel Allerton Pilates is proud to be the Northern Host Centre for Polestar Pilates Education, an internationally respected provider of Pilates teacher training.

Polestar is known for its science-led, physiotherapy-informed approach to movement. Rather than teaching Pilates as a fixed sequence of exercises, it develops teachers who understand how the body works and how to adapt movement for real people.

As a host centre, our studio is not only a place to practise Pilates, but a place where future teachers are trained, supported and assessed to the highest international standards.

This is reflected in everything we do.

Our teaching is grounded in anatomy, biomechanics and clinical understanding.
Our approach is individual, not one-size-fits-all.
And our focus is always on long-term health, not short-term results.

For those looking to train

Our Polestar courses in Mat, Reformer and Comprehensive offer a depth of education that goes far beyond learning exercises, guiding students through anatomy, movement, teaching practice and assessment to become confident, capable teachers.

For our clients, this means you are guided by teachers who are deeply trained to support your body with care, precision and understanding, within a studio that is helping shape the future of Pilates education in the North.

Your Pilates Journey Starts Here

How It Works

01 Start where you are

You don’t need experience, flexibility or a certain level of fitness to begin. We welcome you exactly as you are, whether you’re new to Pilates, returning after a break, or managing an injury.

02 We get to know your body

In your first session or class, we take the time to understand how you move, what you need and what you’d like to achieve. Every body is different, and your Pilates should reflect that.

03 Move with guidance and support

Our highly trained teachers will guide you through each movement with care and attention, helping you build strength, mobility and confidence at your own pace.

04 Build strength for life

Over time, Pilates becomes part of how you support your body. Helping you move more freely, feel stronger and continue doing the things you love.
